0 will be left turn
1 will be right turn
We need to keep track of previous turn in order to decide whether to make a longer or shorter path for going round the path, depending on width of line around a path which would be obtained with width = 0

The "step" variable is introduced because I want to keep track of first and last step of path, or at least first step
