ICERM:Snowflakes and Petals

From Snowflakes to Petals
Snowflakes and flowers use radial symmetry, and repetition. The coding logic stays the same, only the formulas and shapes change
Snowflake Symmetry
Radial symmetry for six-spoke snowflake:  360° ÷ 6 = 60°
Add Endpoints To Snowflake
Square: 4 turns of 90°
Diamond: Turns of 60°, 120°, 60°, 120°
Circle: Use a 360° arc measure
n = number of petals
Basic Petal Formula: 360° ÷ n for spacing around a circle
To Make a Petal: Use two matching arcs with a turn of  (180° − arc angle) between them to mirror the shape.
